Burnham-On-Sea joins nationwide Big Spring Beach Clean
major beach clean-up will be held in Burnham-On-Sea this weekend
as part of a nationwide initiative to rid the UK's beaches of
Big Spring Beach Clean will be held this Saturday (March 24th)
from 11am on Burnham beach, and is being co-ordinated across the
country by environmental charity 'Surfers Against Sewage'.

removing marine litter from UK beaches for many years with the
help of community volunteers.

seeking to protect the UKs oceans, waves and beaches for
all to enjoy safely - says the amount of marine litter found on
UK beaches has almost doubled in the last fifteen years, with
a shocking 1,969 litter items found on every kilometre of coastline,
according to a recent survey.
