Updated: Four hurt in two-car collision in Berrow's Coast Road

Four people were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle accident in Berrow on Wednesday evening (August 22nd).

Two fire appliances from Burnham plus a rescue tender and support vehicle from Weston-super-Mare were sent to Coast Road at 7.06pm.

"On arrival, crews discovered a two vehicle RTC with three persons not medically trapped," said a fire spokesman.

"Crews used cutting gear to remove three casualties and left them in the hands of the ambulance."

An ambulance spokesman told that four people had been taken by ambulance to Weston Hospital. He added that their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening .
