Enjoy
an afternoon of live music at Berrow Gig this Saturday

An
afternoon of great live music is promised at the annual Berrow
Gig this Saturday (August 4th).
The
free event - formerly called Gig On The Green - has been renamed
the 'Berrow Gig' this year since the event will be held on the
village's Millennium Field, off Red Road, instead of the village
green.
Run
by members of the Berrow Community Association, it will raise
funds towards the upkeep and continued improvement of Berrow Village
Hall.
It
will be held between 12.30pm and 6pm and live music acts will
include Triple Vision (pictured above), Smokin Beagles, Snatch
n Co, Jazz Police and The Talk Show Hosts.
There
will also be a bar, barbecue and refreshments plus free parking
on the Red Road Playing Fields.
The
Gig follows on from the successful Berrow Fayre earlier this year
which raised in excess of £2,000 for Berrow Village Hall.
The
organisers say that in the event of wet weather, the event will
be moved into Berrow Village Hall.
