A four year-old girl was rushed to hospital on Saturday afternoon (March 31st) after suffering injuries when she fell onto rocks at Brean.

The youngster suffered cuts to her head and face after tumbling on rocks at the top of Brean beach, near the entrance to the parking area.

“She was quite shaken up by the accident and was taken to hospital for treatment,” beach warden Dave Furber told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

Coastguards and ambulance crews were called to the scene shortly after 4pm and the girl was taken to Weston General Hospital with her family.
