Brent Knoll’s annual summer fete took on a Diamond Jubilee theme on Saturday (June 2nd) with residents and stallholders dressed in colourful costumes.

The spectators – who included Burnham’s MP Tessa Munt – were treated to an afternoon of music, games and stalls plus traditional entertainment.

The event was opened by long-time Brent Knoll resident Pam Dite.

Organiser John Page told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was a fantastic afternoon – the school dancers were there with their traditional country dancing – and we had an excellent range of stalls and a good turnout of crowds.”

Stalls sold woodcarving, jewellery, preserves, honey, cakes, music, bric-a-brac, books and cards. A display of historical items was on show on the village hall.
