A Burnham-On-Sea pub will be hosting a special coffee morning today (Friday, June 8th) to raise money for the Royal Air Forces Association.

The Burnham branch of the RAFA has organised the ‘Brew For The Few’ event at The Railway Pub in Burnham High Street from 10.30am-2pm.

Refreshments will be available to all for a small sum towards the RAFA Wings Appeal.

Organiser Brian Mudge told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Hundreds of fundraising tea and coffee events will be held across the UK to raise money for the RAF Association’s work of supporting current and former RAF personnel and their families.”

The ‘Brew for the Few’ initiative is named after Churchill’s famous speech which referred to “never in the field of human conflict was much owed by so many to so few”, commemorating the bravery of RAF personnel in WWII.
