Fire
crews from Burnham-On-Sea battle house blaze in Bridgwater

Firefighters
from Burnham-On-Sea, Taunton, Street and Bridgwater tackled a
house fire on Friday morning (July 27th).
One
fire engine from Burnham was among six called to Holford Road
in Bridgwater shortly before 11am, as pictured here, where a roof
was alight.
"The
property was a detached chalet-style property with fire damage
to the roof and first floor," a fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
"Crews
used three hose reel jets and a covering jet, three triple extension
ladders, two roof ladders, confined space equipment, small tools
and water from a hydrant. They also carried out salvage of property
from within the house."
An ambulance was requested to treat an adult male who was suffering
from the effects of smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire was
accidental.
