campaign to bring superfast broadband Internet to homes in the
Burnham-On-Sea area has been given a boost with the news that
15,000 individuals and businesses across Somerset have responded
to a survey being run by the Connecting Devon and Somerset project.
initiative aims to provide 100% broadband coverage across the
region - which includes the Burnham-On-Sea area - at 2Mbps with
a minimum of 85% superfast broadband at 24Mbps by 2015 and superfast
broadband for all by 2020.
