Burnbridge Wanderers announces team of the year at awards night

-

Beaming members of Burnbridge Wanderers Junior Football Club’s under 13s side had an extra reason to smile at the club’s presentation evening on Friday (May 4th).

The youngsters won the club’s trophy for team of the year, having gone undefeated in their league for a whole season and also clinched the division title.

Simon Windram, the Under 13s Manager, also deservedly won the club’s manager of the year award for a second year running.

Over 400 players aged 6-15 and their families attended the annual awards night, which was held at the Webbington Hotel. The evening included a raffle with top prizes including a TV donated by Burnham Holiday Village.

Youngsters aged 6-15 who are interested in joining the club can attend its signing-on day on Sunday 10th June from 10am-12 noon at the Oak Tree Arena.
