New vintage bus service launches between Burnham and Weston

-

A unique vintage bus service running between Burnham-On-Sea and Weston-super-Mare launches this weekend for the Easter holidays.

Crosville Motor Services is operating the hourly service between Burnham and Weston via Brean and Berrow using its distinctively coloured green buses.

“We are planning to use vintage vehicles to give our passengers a different experience. It will run through the school holidays and bank holidays,” Jonathan Jones-Pratt, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

From Saturday March 31st during school holidays, buses will depart from Burnham’s Pier Street at 40 minutes past the hour in the daytime, with the first bus leaving at 9.40am and the last one at 5.40pm.

“The service is being run to fill a gap in the market since there are limited operations from Burnham connecting to Weston during the holidays,” added Jonathan.

The firm’s refurbished fleet includes a Chassis Bristol LL6B bus which was originally in service with Crosville Motor Services Limited in 1952 in Chester. More details are available by calling 01934 527710.
