Burnham police issue appeal for help after cannabis plant found

Burnham-On-Sea police are seeking the public's help in finding out how a cannabis plant became to be dumped next to a road in the town at the weekend.

Officers were called to Pople's Bow on Sunday afternoon after the fully grown plant was spotted besides the roadway.

"It appears to have been discarded on the side of the road. We are interested to know how it got there," Sgt Ian Kennett told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

Burnham Police can be contacted by telephoning the non-emergency number of 101.
