Burnham
police appeal for information after burnt-out car discovered
Burnham-On-Sea
police have issued an appeal for information after a burnt-out
car was found in a quiet lane outside East Huntspill early on
Sunday morning (April 22nd).
Firefighters
from Burnham were sent to Long Moor Drove in East Huntspill at
11.19am.
"The crew discovered a badly damaged, burnt-out Rover 75
that was still smouldering," a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
"The
crew inspected the vehicle and left the incident in the hands
of the police."
An
appeal for witnesses has been issued and anyone with information
about how the car got there should contact either Crimestoppers
on 0800 555 111 or the non-emergency police number 101.
