Burnham-On-Sea fire crews called to small blaze at Highbridge flat

Fire crews and police were called to a blaze at a flat in Highbridge on Wednesday afternoon (October 3rd).

Two fire engines from Burnham-On-Sea rushed to the flat in Caxton Road, as pictured here, at 1pm.

"We received a report of a smell of burning coming from a house and police were called to force entry to the property to allow fire crews to investigate," police spokesman Simon Whitby told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

They found a small fire that confined to the kitchen of the property and there were no injuries.
