Over
200 flock to family fun day at Highbridge Children's Centre

Over
200 people attended a family fun day at Highbridge Children's
Centre on Tuesday (14th August).
The
event was organised by Children's Centre staff and was free to
all families with young children in the area.
Children
enjoyed chasing enormous bubbles, fun on a bouncy castle, making
healthy snacks and playing energetically with rugby tots.
The
children also enjoyed the face painting, balloon modelling and
creating masterpieces which involved turning trash into treasure.
Children's
Centre Cluster Manager Rachel Bailey told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"This was a fantastic day for children and families and we
are grateful for the support of parents and partners, including
Barnardos staff who helped promote the event, health visitors
and St John Ambulance."
"We
were delighted that the Mayor of Burnham and Highbridge joined
the fun and tried his hand at juggling, catching bubbles and African
drumming."
"The
event has been such a huge success that the centre is already
planning next year's event."
