Chinese
visitors experience seaside for first time during Burnham visit

A
group of Chinese students made a special visit to Burnham-On-Sea
this week when they experienced the seaside for the first time.
The
students from China and Hong Kong - who are studying in Wells
- were invited to visit Churchfield School in Highbridge to help
the pupils with their studies of China.
"The
group gave us a superb presentation and taught the children in
Year 3 how to say some words in Chinese," teacher Rosie Clements
told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
"They also taught them calligraphy and played chopstick games
- and great fun was had by adults and children alike!"
"Afterwards,
the students went to the beach in Burnham which, for some, was
their first ever trip to the seaside."
