New Highbridge-based private hire travel firm creates six new jobs

Up to six new jobs will be created in Highbridge this weekend with the launch of a new private hire travel company.

Coastal Cars is a family run, private hire and executive travel service that aims to provide a fast, friendly service from its base in Market Street.

Owner Les Barber is holding two special open days on Friday August 3rd and Saturday August 4th when up to six drivers are being sought.

"We are looking for owner drivers and drivers who must have, or be prepared to obtain Sedgemoor private hire licences, to pop along for a chat," he said.

No extra equipment will be needed to be fitted into vehicles since Coastal Cars will use 'revolutionary' smartphone-based booking technology which will enable tracking of vehicles to unnecessary delays.
