Fundraising
Berrow craft fair hailed a success by organisers

Woodcraft,
ceramics and cakes were among the wide range of locally-made items
on show at a craft fair in Berrow on Saturday (12th May).
Scores
of locally-produced items went on sale during the day-long fundraising
event at the Berrow Inn.
Around 40 stalls were set up by crafters and traders, offering
a selection of handmade goods.
Rob
Spriggs, Manager of the Berrow Inn, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We
thank everyone for their support including all those who visited
the event and those who exhibited here. We had a great range of
items on show."
The
craft fair was formally opened by Burnham's new Mayor, Councillor
Ken Smout. The event raised funds for BIARS, the community organisation
that runs Burnham's tourist information centre.
