Youngsters
perform Burnham-On-Sea summer show

A
large audience of families has watched a special one-off summer
variety performance at Burnham-On-Sea's Princess Theatre.
The
event was the culmination of a week-long summer school organised
by local group DanceFit.
Nineteen talented youngsters aged between 5 and 10 attended DanceFits
third annual summer school which was called 'Build a Show in a
Week'.
They spent the week learning songs, dance routines, scripts and
making props ready for their performance of 'The Pirates of The
Curry Bean'.
Victoria Roberts from DanceFit told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It
was an absolutely brilliant week, we all had lots of fun working
on this production."
"The
children really threw themselves into their roles and created
a fantastic show."
She added: "We cant quite believe the amount that
the children achieved in one week.
"They all worked so hard not only during the day at the
rehearsals but also when they went home, learning their lines,
finding costumes and some even made some props that we needed."
"Everyone that took part should be really proud of themselves,
and we are already looking forward to next year's summer school."
