Excellence award for Burnham-On-Sea dementia support service
service which supports elderly patients with dementia and their
associated memory problems has been awarded a much-coveted accreditation
status by the Royal College of Psychiatrists this week.
at the Burnham Memory Assessment Service offer assessment, diagnosis,
treatment and support to people suffering with dementia and living
in and around the Burnham-On-Sea area.
presentation took place on Wednesday (July 11th) when staff at
Berrow Health Park's Mulberry Centre were presented with an 'excellence'
accreditation status award.

Accreditation Programme is only awarded after a succession of
service reviews and when staff can demonstrate that their services
are maintaining the highest professional standards.
