fundraising music and fun day was held in Burnham on Saturday
(September 29th) in memory of Dylan Cecil, the four year-old boy
who died in August after falling from the town's jetty.
11-hour fundraiser was held outside The Dunstan House in Love
Lane and raised £3,660 for the town's search and rescue
teams - BARB, The Coastguard Association, RNLI and SARbot.
with childrens activities and an auction, there was comedy from
Buster and live music from local groups Ping & I, So Watt,
Kastrow, The Ovation Brothers, Snatch & Co, Vermin, The Ginger
Hitlas and Riverbrew.
Organiser Dusica Roberts told Burnham-On-Sea.com she was pleased
with how the event went. "As soon as I heard about what had
happened to Dylan I wanted to help," she said.
