Fundraising bike run to be held this Sunday in memory of Dylan Cecil

-

Big-hearted bikers from across the Burnham-On-Sea area will be holding a fundraising bike run in memory of Dylan Cecil, the four year-old boy who died after falling into the sea from the town’s jetty.

Dozens of bikers are already signed up to take part in the event, being held this Sunday (September 2nd).

The proceeds will go to the charities involved in the search for Dylan – the Coastguard Association, BARB, RNLI and Sarbot.

“The bike run is being held to raise funds for the four organisations involved in the search for little Dylan. We will be meeting in the car park next to TA8s Bistro in Burnham from 9am and then set off at 10am on a 50 mile run going out as towards Cheddar,” one of the organisers, Phil Hayward, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

Motorcyclists wishing to take part will be asked to make a donation of £5 a bike plus driver and £2.50 per pillion rider. More details from Phil on 07990 833550.
