Floral tributes laid at Berrow crash scene where two men died

-

The family and friends of the two men who died in a tragic car accident in Berrow, near Burnham-On-Sea, last weekend have been laying floral tributes at the crash scene.

A number of flower bouquets have been left along the grass verge in Coast Road and the hedge where the two men died at 4.45am last Sunday (February 26th).

As reported here, the men were travelling in a black BMW M3 from Brean in the direction of Burnham when it left the road in thick fog near the entrance to Sandy Glade holiday park.

The vehicle appeared to go up a grass bank before ending up in a hedgerow. Emergency crews were called to the scene but nothing could be done to save the two men – aged 37 and 25 – inside.

Police are still interested in speaking to anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw the car prior to the incident. Those with information should call the police roads policing unit on 101.
