Plans for Burnham-On-Sea Food and Drink Festival are unveiled
is set to host its first food festival this autumn when scores
of food and drink producers from across the West country will

on Saturday 29th September.
Bev and Sarah Milner Simonds, pictured, will be running the event
on a not-for-profit basis.

that we are surrounded by fabulous food producers - farmers, gardeners,
delicatessens, cider makers, wine makers, foragers and hunters.
This is where we find some of the best of the west and we want
to celebrate it."

radius of Burnham to get involved in the day-long festival.
holders will be located at Burnham's Baptist Hall and The Princess
Demonstrations and workshops will be held throughout the day while
local food businesses will be encouraged to join in with in-store
demos, tastings and special menus.
