Burnham-On-Sea
care home presents staff with long service awards

Three
members of staff at a Burnham-On-Sea care home have been handed
long-service awards this week.
Burnham's
Mayor, Cllr Ken Smout, attended a ceremony at Frith House to present
the trio with awards, while CEO of Somerset Care, Alyson Martin,
handed them gifts.
Supervisor
Gillian Ham has worked there 20 years, while Carol Dean, a cook,
has been there 20 years and Lin Houghton, administrator, has worked
there for 30 years.
"It
is an achievement to be in the presence of 70 years of service
to the community - the commitment and dedication is to be applauded,"
said Alyson.
Residents
and staff past and present joined in the celebrations at the care
home.
