Highbridge and Burnham art group plans busy year ahead

A popular group of artists in Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge has grown to more than 20 members as it plans a busy year of activities.

Highbridge and Burnham Artists (HABA) held its AGM on Thursday (October 11th) where plans for several events were unveiled.

The group is to hold a Christmas Art Market in Burnham Community Centre on Saturday December 8th from 10am-4pm when locally-made paintings and crafts will go on show.

And HABA has also begun planning its annual outdoor art festival in 2013 which will be held in Apex Park under the name 'Flights of Fancy.'

Sarah Berryman, HABA Chairperson, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It's been a busy, very successful year for us following our Denizens of The Deep festival in July and several other well-supported events. We are delighted to have welcomed several new members this year and newcomers are welcome to join us."
