the last straw! Lorry spill causes M5 delays near Burnham
on the M5 approaching Burnham-On-Sea faced further delays on Saturday
(July 28th) after a lorry shed part of its load of straw across
lane of the motorway's northbound carriageway between junction
24 at Bridgwater and junction 23 at Highbridge was closed following
the mid-morning incident.
police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com that the Highways Agency
had temporarily closed one lane for over an hour to allow a full
clean-up operation to be undertaken, as pictured.
