Thousands set to visit Healing Weekend near Burnham this weekend

Crowds of visitors from across the UK are expected to visit East Huntspill this weekend when a popular annual Healing Weekend is held at Secret World Wildlife Rescue Centre.

Now in its fourth year, The Healing Weekend will be held on Friday 6th July, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July.

The event will see over 170 exhibitors and 90 workshops including therapists, healers, psychics, clairvoyants, arts and crafts, trade stands plus music, dance displays and children's activities.

Children will love the faeries, pixies and pirates in The Enchanted Kingdom for a host of magical fun, games and workshops, plus weekend lunchtime shows with international children’s entertainer Scotty, whose music can be heard of CBeebies every day.

Event organiser Elaine Fenton told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We are really hoping to welcome lots of people this year. The Healing Weekend is now one of the best loved events of its kind in the UK and we are thrilled to bring it all together and help our friends at Secret World."

The event will be open from 10am-6pm daily and admission will be £5 per person (under 14s free). An additional charge applies for workshops and evening entertainment. More details are available here.
