Wildlife
rescue charity issues unusual appeal after hedgehog influx

Wildlife
rescue charity Secret World has this week appealed to Burnham-On-Sea
residents for help in dealing with an influx of hedgehogs.
"We
are in desperate need of unwanted rabbit hutches which can be
used to accommodate our increasing number of hedgehogs,"
said a spokeswoman from the East Huntspill charity.
"We
now have over 50 hedgehogs in our care and with more expected
over the coming months we now need hutches to help us accommodate
them."
"They
will also assist with the releasing of orphaned hedgehogs once
fit and well back into the wild."
