Air ambulance lands in Highbridge to fly accident victim to hospital
Highbridge woman was airlifted to hospital on Saturday evening
(June 23rd) after suffering an accident in which she fell down
Ambulance crews were called to a property in Highbridge Road
shortly after 6pm and, because the lady had a potentially serious
head injury, a helicopter was called to fly her to hospital.
As pictured here, a red Devon Air Ambulance landed on the playing
fields at King Alfred School to take the patient to Frenchay Hospital
It was later confirmed by a friend of the family that her injuries
were fortunately not as serious as first thought.
