Stranded
pony rescued at Lympsham by Burnham-On-Sea fire crews
Burnham-On-Sea
firefighters were called out to rescue a pony that had become
stuck in a water-filled ditch on Saturday.
Crews from Burnham and Weston were called to West Road in Lympsham
at 1.40pm.
"Crews
removed the hedgerow around the animal. Crews wore dry suits and
used flotation devices and strops and lines to remove the pony,"
a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
