Burnham and Highbridge Karate Club students achieve red belts

This
group of Burnham-On-Sea karate students are celebrating this week
after achieving red belt status.
Four
students from Burnham and Highbridge Karate Club passed their
grading on Sunday to achieve their red belt status. They are pictured
above proudly wearing their new belts and holding their certificates.
And
Josh Proctor 4th Kyu, pictured right, also had a reason to celebrate,
when he took 3rd place in the Boys Kumite at the WKU Invitational
Competition at Hutton Moor Sports Centre in Weston-super-Mare.
The
club is always happy to welcome new members both Junior (5+) and
Adult (16+) and training sessions are every Wednesday from 7-8pm
(Juniors) and 8-9pm (Adults) and Sunday mornings from 10-11am
(Juniors) and 11-12noon (Adults) at King Alfred School's Sports
Centre.
