Colourful artwork from Highbridge school students to go on display

Students at Highbridge’s King Alfred School will be displaying their artistic expertise during a special art exhibition on Wednesday (July 4th).

The school’s art department is hosting the ‘inspirational evening of art’ from 6pm-8.30pm in the main hall.

“We will be celebrating the success of our students’ innovative work and achievements, ranging from painting and sculpture to film, photography and installation,” the school’s Head of Art, Louise Amato, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

The public is welcome to visit and refreshments will be provided from 6.30pm onwards in the main hall.

The artwork will also be open to view by appointment from 9am on Thursday 5th July until 12 noon on Friday 6th July.
