school 'open as normal' after power fault is resolved
King Alfred School has told pupils that it will be open as usual
on Tuesday (February 21st) despite a power failure that interrupted
services on Monday.
school issued a letter to all parents alerting them to the "power
supply issues" which occurred throughout Monday afternoon
and affected several services including the school's telephone
Andy Owen said: "The school remained functional with all
students in lessons. Our emergency systems ran on back-up batteries,
ensuring that the school met all appropriate health and safety

and that the school will open as normal on Tuesday.
