New date is set for postponed lifeboat car wash in Burnham-On-Sea

A postponed car wash to raise money for Burnham-On-Sea RNLI will be held in April.

Volunteers from the lifeboat station in Pier Street had to cancel the second of their charity car washes due to wintry weather in February.

Now, the re-scheduled event will take place at the station on Easter Saturday, April 7th, between 10am and 2pm.

Meanwhile, Burnham RNLI's AGM will be held this Friday (16th March) when David Eccles from EDF Energy will give a talk about the coastal impact of the Hinkley Point development. The open meeting starts at 7.30pm at Burnham Sailing Club on the South Esplanade.
