Overturned vehicle on M5 near Burnham causes traffic disruption
An
overturned vehicle caused traffic disruption on the M5 motorway
past Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday (June 17th).
Police
and fire crews were called to the northbound carriageway, between
junctions 22 at Burnham and 21 at Weston, at 12.09pm.
Two fire crews from Burnham and one further crew and a rescue
tender from Weston attended the scene.
"On arrival the crews discovered an overturned vehicle which
had been towing a caravan, with one person trapped in the vehicle.
The crews got to work and released the casualty who was left in
the hands of the police," a fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
