M5
delays at Burnham-On-Sea caused by broken down horse box
Commuters
faced long delays coming off the M5 motorway at Burnham-On-Sea
this evening (Thursday).
Queues of vehicles stretched for almost two miles along the northbound
carriageway after a horse box broke down, blocking one lane of
the slip road near the Edithmead roundabout, as pictured here.
"Unfortunately, long queues of traffic built up during the
rush hour before the broken down vehicle was finally recovered,"
a Highways Agency spokesman confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com.
