Burnham and Highbridge Mayor makes surprise visit to art class

-

Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Mayor Ken Smout made a surprise visit at the start of Sedgemoor Community Partnership’s ‘First Step’ Personal Mandala Artwork course this week.

During the short course in Highbridge’s Morland Hall, eleven students are being shown examples of Mandala art and learning about its history before being encouraged to create their own personal Mandala designs.

“The Mayor said that he was touring a selection of the local venues involved with this year’s Art Week and felt compelled to drop in at Morland Hall to give his approval and wish the students well in creating new skills,” organiser Richard Mathews told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
