Burnham
shoppers dig deep for Royal Marines, raising almost £1,000
A
charity collection at a Burnham-On-Sea supermarket has this week
raised hundreds of pounds for the Royal Marines Charitable Trust.
Four
members of the Bridgwater Royal Marines Association collected
£979 at Morrisons in Pier Street, Burnham.
"We
were delighted with the support shown from shoppers and the store
- all the money collected is going to the Royal Marines Charitable
Trust, which looks after service personnel who become injured,"
a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
