Man
hurt in two-vehicle collision near Burnham-On-Sea
One
person was taken to hospital following a two-car collision near
Burnham-On-Sea this afternoon (Friday).
Emergency
services were called to Mark Moor at 1.17pm following the accident
between an Audi TT and a VW transporter van.
It
occurred at the junction of River Road near Brick House Sluice,
as pictured here.
A
man was taken by ambulance to hospital with what were understood
to be minor injuries.
A
fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Crews
were called to a two vehicle road traffic collision where no persons
were trapped. They made the vehicles safe."
Police
diverted traffic around the scene before recovery of the vehicles
took place.
