New
Burnham-On-Sea Mayor and Mayoress to be elected tonight
 A
new Mayor and Mayoress are set to be elected by town councillors
in Burnham-On-Sea this evening (Wednesday, May 9th).
Cllr
Michael Clarke and his wife Maria, the town's existing Mayor and
Mayoress, have enjoyed a busy two years in the role and are set
to step down.
Councillors
are scheduled to appoint a new Mayor and Mayoress, plus deputies,
for the next 12 months during a meeting of Burnham and Highbridge
Town Council in Jaycroft Road.
