The walls along part of Burnham-On-Sea’s South Esplanade have been the focus for a group of local artists this week as they undertake work on a new mural.

Highbridge and Burnham Artists (HABA) in conjunction with Burnham Sailing Club have been painting a colourful mural on the club’s walls to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

“The new mural features the Queen’s Jubilee logo with a gaff rigged sailing ketch and a fishing boat on the sea with an abundance of marine life under the surface,” artist Cora Stock told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

On Wednesday the group had a lot of inspired help from Lesley Filce, Coleen Blake, Dorothy Kelly with Cora completing the design.
