Burnham-On-Sea
cyclists raise £2,000 during 100km night bike ride

Four
Burnham-On-Sea residents raised £2,000 for charity by completing
a 100km night cycle between London and Brighton at the weekend.
Louise
Crew, Toria Taylor, Marcus Medd and Alan Clarke took part in the
Moon Ride in aid of Breast Cancer Care.
Louise,
who has raised many thousands of pounds for cancer charities since
having breast cancer herself 12 years ago, her daughter Toria,
partner Marcus and friend Alan set off from Alexandra Palace at
10.30pm and cycled the 66 miles to Brighton with nearly 750 other
riders.
The
group tackled London's Friday night traffic, then into the countryside,
as the heavens opened for an hour, fought a strong headwind, and
eventually arrived in Brighton at 7.20am the following morning,
which was Louise's birthday.
Between
them they raised approximately £2000 and they thank all
those that kindly sponsored them.
