Burnham-On-Sea teacher to hold fashion exhibition in Weston

A Burnham-On-Sea textile design teacher will be leading a fashion exhibition and show in Weston this weekend.

Nicola Stent, who teaches A Level Textile Design at Weston College, is holding the show in the Sovereign Centre this Saturday (July 21st).

"My students and I will be running a fashion and textile outlet for the day in unit 9 opposite Druckers," she told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

"It will feature all the garments and accessories made throughout the year, a fashion show, plus 'handmade' saleable gifts which will be available to buy."

All five learners - Evie Harlow, Eloise Maidment, Harriet Parker, Grace Robinson and Georgina Stuart - are progressing onto further education, one studying dance and the others all progressing onto Weston colleges foundation year!

The event will be held from 9am-5pm.
