Police
called to early morning collision at Highbridge roundabout

This
car was left severely dented after colliding with a lamp post
in the early hours of Tuesday morning, October 16th.
Police and fire crews were called to the Pepperall Road roundabout
in Highbridge where the Renualt Clio, pictured here, was involved
in a crash.
Police spokesman Wayne Baker told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We
were called at 12.20am to a road traffic collision in Pepperall
Road where a car had been in collision with a lamp post.
"The driver was not thought to have been injured and the
highways authority was called to make safe the lamp post."
Fire crews confirmed that there were no persons trapped and made
the area safe.
