Lights, camera, action! Summer school for young performers starts

Budding dancers, actors and singers will have the chance to join a week-long summer school aimed at developing their skills.

The special event is being led by Victoria Roberts from Dancefit Somerset and will run from 6th-10th August.

Victoria told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The school is being run at the studio for children aged 6-11 and is called 'Build a Show in a Week'."

"Children will learn about all the aspects of putting on a show, from performing on stage, learning lines, songs and dances, to creating costumes and props."

The event will run each day from 9.30am-3pm and will result in a performance on the Friday evening at The Princess Theatre.
