Big crowds expected at Burnham's Picnic In The Park today

Organisers are making final preparations for Burnham-On-Sea's Picnic in the Park, which is to be held today (Sunday, July 8th).

The free event in Burnham's Manor Gardens takes place from 12.30pm-5pm with entertainment from Dave Busker Harris, The Fallen Apples, Nicky Swann and The Glow Globes.

Organiser Mike Murphy told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It promises to be a fun afternoon for everyone - we have a great line-up of music plus refreshments, a kids zone and a bouncy castle. There will also be real ales and ciders on sale."

Organising group CADS, the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society, holds several free music events a year for the benefit of people in both towns.
