Sunny weather draws crowds to Burnham-On-Sea's Picnic In The Park

Big
crowds took full advantage of the good weather on Sunday afternoon
(July 8th) to flock to Burnham-On-Sea's Picnic in the Park.
Organisers
breathed a sigh of relief as the sun came out, attracting big
crowds to Burnham's Manor Gardens for over four hours of live
music from Dave Busker Harris, The Fallen Apples, Nicky Swann
and The Glow Globes.
Mayor
Ken Smout, pictured above with Town Clerk Eileen Shaw, told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"After so much poor weather this summer it was great to see
the sun draw out the crowds."
Organiser
Mike Murphy from CADS, the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts
and Development Society added that the event had been a "great
success."
CADS
holds several free music events a year for the benefit of people
in both towns.
