Pirate-themed fun day to be held on Burnham-On-Sea beach on Sunday
A
free pirate-themed family fun day is to be held on Burnham-On-Sea
beach on Sunday (August 12th).
The
free family event is to be held from 12 noon to 5pm on the town's
beach next to The Pavillion.
Events
being lined up include a fancy dress competition with prizes for
the best male and female pirates, adults and kids.
There
will also be pirate-themed games, fun workshops for children on
how to become a pirate, face painting, Mo the Bubble man, the
Mudlarks community choir and more.
"This
will be a simple, free, fun day for all the family to come along
and enjoy. We hope lots of families will bring along a picnic
and join in the fun. Kids - and big kids! - should bring a towel
if entering the games as they may get wet!" organiser Ian
Jefferies told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
