disposal team to search the property in Beatty Way

Army bomb disposal experts and police officers set
up a 100-metre cordon around the property

A thorough search by the bomb disposal team was underway throughout
Friday

TV crews followed the developments in the road throughout the
day

Dozens of police and army officers attended the scene during
Friday and the road is likely to stay closed over the weekend

An
Army spokesman said that a bomb disposal team from Ashchurch in
Gloucestershire had been called to the scene to support the police

The
initial cordon around the property in Beatty Way was widened following
the initial early morning raid

Police
evacuated scores of people from around the property to Burnham
Community Centre during the day
