jobs boost for Highbridge as Portakabin wins bid to open site
buildings firm Portakabin has this week been granted planning
permission to open a new centre on Highbridge's Isleport Industrial
Park, creating new jobs in the town.
firm will employ 31 full-time staff at the new centre, to be located
on vacant land next to the roundabout at the junction of Mark
Road and Bennett Road, as pictured above.

Deputy Town Clerk Denise Emery telling Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Members
of the Town Council have supported this application - it brings
valuable job opportunities."
1.8 hectare site will be landscaped with a vegetation screening
around its perimeter and 28 new car parking spaces will also be

of working at the site be restricted from 7.30am to 7.30pm on
weekdays and 7.30am-1pm on Saturdays, with no working on Sundays,
